Brass Hilt Sabre

This was the most common of all cavalry weapons of the 18th and 19th centuries. Distinguishable by its single edge curved blade this sword was most effective in the hands of horse soldiers (calvary) who could inflict serious injury to ground troops with a single slash. This beautiful reproduction is hand forged from tempered carbon steel and has a solid twisted brass grip. A sheath is included.
