1866 Winchester Rifle

This replica rifle is modeled after the Model 1866 Winchester. After the war Oliver Winchester renamed his company Winchester Repeating Arms and had the basic design of the Henry rifle completely modified and improved to become the first Winchester rifle, the Model 1866, which fired centerfire cartridges and had an improved magazine and, for the first time, a wooden forearm. No other rifle was more synonymous with the “Wild West.” This replica features metal and wood construction and is made to the same dimensions as the original.
